Phoenix Theatre Artists seeks to grow the audience for live theatre by aligning ourselves with the interests of the general public and by investing in the community around us.

We achieve our mission by adhering to these operating principles:

Make affordable theatre. We believe that live theatre offers a user experience that you can’t find anywhere else. However, we understand that there are other forms of entertainment that are cheaper. That’s why we’re proud to offer Phoenix Theatre shows at the lowest price possible. We’re not looking to quit our day jobs - we just want to keep producing quality shows.

Make relatable theatre. We believe that there is a gap between pop culture and theatre, and there are millions of Americans who have never seen a live theatrical production. We seek to bridge this gap by selecting scripts and topics that have a larger mass appeal, and by partnering with other organizations to increase our visibility.

Make charitable theatre. We believe that we have a responsibility to not only ensure the cultural growth of our community, but also the needs of its citizens. For each Phoenix Theatre production, we donate a portion of ticket sales to another non-profit organization in order to help them achieve their fundraising goals.
